Applications DUE MAY 3rd for Young Olympic Ambassadors Program in Greece

The USOPC is excited to sponsor 2-3 applicants for the International Olympic Academy's 62nd International Session for Young Olympic Ambassadors, an amazing opportunity to learn more about the history of the Olympic Games and Olympism (see attached for additional details including eligibility. This year's theme is "The Olympic Movement and Olympism in the Digital Era." The session will be held in Olympia, Greece, with arrival into Athens on Saturday, June 11th and departure from Athens on Thursday, June 23rd.

The USOPC-sponsored opportunity includes payment for all fees (i.e., application, program, travel, accommodations, etc.) not covered by the IOA.

To be considered for this session, applicants must be between the ages of 20 and 30 and fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 and submit the following information to to TeamUSAAcademy@usopc.org by Wednesday, May 3rd.

  • Motivation letter (500 words max)
  • Resume
  • Passport Copy
  • Headshot Photo

If selected, you will also be required to show and submit proof of vaccination and submit a plan of initiatives you wish to undertake following the session to share your experience and disseminate the knowledge you acquired during the session.
