U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee Highlights a Year of Turning Momentum Into Impact in 2025 Impact Report

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (June 30, 2026) — The U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) released its 2025 Impact Report today, highlighting how the organization transformed the energy surrounding Team USA into lasting impact for athletes, sport and the Olympic and Paralympic Movement. 

Building on the unprecedented momentum sparked by Team USA’s performances in Paris, record fan engagement and unprecedented philanthropic support, the USOPC focused 2025 on strengthening the systems that power Team USA every day. From a historic $100 million commitment to athlete financial security and expanded investments in athlete well-being, to advances in Olympic and Paralympic integration and innovation, the organization strengthened the systems that help athletes thrive on and off the field of play. These efforts not only supported Team USA's pursuit of excellence today – they also helped shape a stronger future for generations of athletes to come.

Together with the broader Olympic & Paralympic community, we showed up for our athletes, strengthened the Movement and continued building a future where sport can inspire, unite and create opportunity for generations to come." 

Highlights from the 2025 Impact Report include: 

Athlete Excellence: The USOPC expanded support for athletes across every stage of their journeys, strengthening their well-being, fueling their performance and building security for what comes next, including by:  

• Announcing the Stevens Financial Security Awards, made possible by a transformational $100 million gift from Ross Stevens, that will provide long-term financial benefits for Team USA athletes for each Olympic and Paralympic Games in which they compete
• Strengthening athlete success beyond sport through nearly $2 million in education funding for more than 420 athletes, support for athletes transitioning out of sport and the Team USA Athlete Fellowship Program
• Offering new resources to advance athlete well-being, including the REST USA pilot to improve athlete sleep habits and long-term rehabilitation support to help athletes return to competition stronger

• Supporting parent-athletes through the Team USA Family Fund and advancing new investments through the Women’s Fund

Sport Advancement: The USOPC continued to advance the Movement and strengthen the high-performance system behind Team USA by: 

• Becoming the first National Olympic and Paralympic Committee to incorporate Paralympic competition data into international performance analysis
• Integrating 2 Paralympic sports with their Olympic counterparts – USA Track & Field and USA Cycling – benefitting both Olympic and Paralympic athletes 
• Investing $1.1 million in Performance Innovation funding to advance research and technology across National Governing Bodies
• Supporting more than 500 athlete matters through the Athlete Ombuds Office, helping athletes remain focused on training and competition, earning a 97% satisfaction rate among athletes who engaged with the service

Community Growth: The USOPC brought fans, donors and partners closer to the athletes and stories that define the Movement through several major milestones, including: 

• Achieving another record-breaking fundraising year, with more than $254 million raised and 11,000 first-time donors joining the Team USA community
• Building excitement for Milano-Cortina 2026 through ongoing campaigns and events, including the Team USA Media Summit, which generated 4.1 billion impressions and more than 3,200 stories featuring Team USA athletes 
• Expanding fan engagement through athlete storytelling and cultural moments, including the appointment of Snoop Dogg as Team USA's first Honorary Coach, while welcoming more than 80,000 new contactable fans as email subscribers 
• Advancing the global Olympic and Paralympic Movement through new international leadership roles, knowledge sharing and athlete-focused advocacy, reinforcing the United States' No. 1 ranking on the Global Sports Political Power Index for the sixth consecutive year
