Athlete Life & Programs

The Lake Placid Olympic & Paralympic Training Center offers a Resident Program which allows approved athletes to live on-complex in the resident dormitories or off-complex in the local community. Athletes accepted in the Resident Program are eligible to utilize OPTC facilities and services throughout the year.

In addition to their training, it is our hope that through onsite activities, such as cooking classes, career development, and specialty courses, along with community outreach and offsite group outings, our residents develop life skills that propel them to success both on and off the field of play.
