PREVIEW

The U.S. Para Nordic team is shaping up to be a dynamic mix of seasoned medalists and rising talent ready to tackle both cross-country and biathlon courses in Italy. Fresh off an impressive legacy from Beijing 2022, where the team earned 20 medals including six gold medals, the team is poised to build on that success in Milano-Cortina. All four members of the gold-medal-winning relay team from Beijing will be returning this season, bringing both experience and chemistry to a roster already stacked with momentum. The team's preparation has been intense and intentional with a strong 2025 World Cup season and multiple training camps during off season. As the calendar counts down, fans can expect high-intensity pursuit races, strategic sprints, and the defining moments that often emerge when the world's best Para Nordic athletes converge on the biggest stage.

Stand-outs like veteran powerhouse Oksana Masters will once again anchor the U.S. team. The seven-time Paralympian has been back on skis and sharpening her skills after recovering from another surgery. Kendall Gretsch also continues to be a major force in the Para Nordic world with multiple world titles and Paralympic medals across both biathlon and cross-country skiing. Then there is Jake Adicoff who, with four Paralympic medals to his name already, stands poised to be a major medal contender in the visually impaired classification at Milano-Cortina 2026. Emerging talent like Ty Wiberg, Nicole Zaino, and Michael Kneeland round out a group that embodies depth and ambition.
