2024 ignited the Decade of Sport, a once-in-a-generation opportunity for the U.S. to welcome the world to witness the most significant display of sport at two upcoming Games. From securing the Salt Lake City-Utah 2034 bid to record-breaking podium successes and historic fundraising milestones, the USOPC elevated what it means to support Team USA and advance its mission.

    The USOPC is committed to supporting the holistic well-being of Team USA athletes so they can perform at their best on and off the field of play. In 2024, the USOPC expanded athlete mental and physical health services, enhanced real-time care before, during and after competitions and elevated resources to advance athlete readiness, recovery and life beyond sport.

    2024 ushered in a transformative era for Team USA. The USOPC reinforced its dedication to athlete safety and fairness. Progress accelerated Para athlete integration and inclusivity, while collegiate and community partnerships expanded access and opportunity. National Governing Bodies turned investments into historic medal wins and USOPC staff engaged in expanded learning and leadership development. All these efforts reflect a commitment to empower athletes to chase their dreams and inspire the world.

    A new wave of energy brought fans closer than ever to Team USA. Through campaigns like One for All, Making Team USA and athlete-led social content, the USOPC amplified athlete voices and celebrated their individuality. Fan and donor engagement surged with unique and immersive activations like the Team USA Ultimate Obby on Roblox and a new fundraising campaign that introduced the Movement to a new generation and new supporters. The result was a record year for fandom and fundraising, underscoring the unifying power of sport.

Organizational Health#

The USOPC is committed to fiscal responsibility and financial transparency across the Olympic and Paralympic movements. Its core mission is to support athletes through essential programs, impactful services and direct funding. In partnership with National Governing Bodies, and through detailed financial reports, disclosures and regular updates, the USOPC aims to provide a clear view of its operations and resource allocation to empower Team USA.
