    Director, Comprehensive Campaign

  • Chicago-based Christie is the Comprehensive Campaign Director and is thrilled to help bring the Olympic and Paralympic movements to the Midwest. Prior to joining the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Foundation in September 2022, she spent 15 years in museum development, fundraising for some of the country’s greatest science museums. In her most recent role as Senior Director of Major Giving and Campaign at the Museum of Science and Industry, she oversaw the largest capital campaign in the institution's history, which exceeded its $350 million goal. Christie grew up in west Michigan and earned her Bachelor of Arts in history at Michigan State University. She now resides just outside of Chicago in Oak Park with her husband John and 4-year-old daughter Winona.

Her first Olympic memory was cheering Kristi Yamaguchi to gold at the 1992 Winter Games.
