CSOPTC Program Guide
Make sure you’re compliant with USOPC policies
All participants will need to be compliant prior to arriving at the CSOPTC. Make sure your yearly liability waiver is complete. If you are 18+, you will need a valid background check and up-to-date SafeSport training. If you have questions, please contact your NGB.
Airport arrivals (changes contact front desk)
When you arrive in Colorado Springs, look for CSOPTC drivers at the bottom of the escalators. If you don’t see your driver, head outside to the arrivals level and look for a marked CSOPTC vehicle (either a 12-passenger van or a shuttle bus). Still can’t find them? Call 719-866-4444 for assistance.
Shared bathrooms / expectations
Dorms are shared with other programs. Please be respectful, keep noise to a minimum, maintain cleanliness in shared bathrooms, and wear clothing at all times in common areas.
Sick/ill participants
If you feel unwell before traveling, notify your coach to arrange for you to stay home.
Checking In
Upon arrival, you’ll be dropped off in front of the Athlete Center. Approach the front desk, provide your name, and let the staff know which program you’re with. They will direct you to your room.
Checking Out
- Check the TV monitors in the Athlete Center for your scheduled shuttle time before departure.
Don’t see your name? Visit the front desk for assistance. Shuttle requests can be made up to 72 hours before departure.
All rooms must be checked out by 9 a.m. You may store luggage in the Athlete Center’s luggage room until it’s time to leave.
Before leaving, double-check your room for all personal belongings.
Dorm Etiquette
You can expect dormitory-style living with shared common spaces with other camps/sports
Most dorms are double occupancy, so you will more than likely share with a roommate from your same sport
Your NGB will assign you your roommate
Please be aware that there are other programs utilizing the same dorms you will be in. Some may be different calibers or have impairments. Please be respectful of your surroundings.
Please do not congregate anywhere except the common spaces.
Quiet hours are from 10pm-7am daily.
