    Team USA Paralympic Athletes

    To reach their full potential, Team USA Paralympic athletes rely on access to a variety of services and resources, including coaching, nutrition, equipment , travel, training opportunities, and beyond. Depending on the sport, the annual out-of-pocket costs for these performance needs can reach six figures. Some of the specialty services for Paralympic athletes can include:  

    • Dietetics to address any deficiencies,additional hydration support, cooling, and energy strategies. 

    • Strength & Conditioning performance resources to better inform training, injury prevention and competition preparedness . 

    • Financial support for prostheticneeds and specialized equipment,which can take months to complete and range from thousands to tens of thousands of dollars. 

    By funding Team USA Paralympic athletes, we strive to elevate visibility and expand opportunities for the best of the best to perform on the biggest stage.

    USOPC Resources

    The U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) is committed to becoming the global leader in the Paralympic movement, advancing excellence and opportunity for individuals with physical disabilities and visual impairments. 

    In partnership with National Governing Bodies (NGBs), the USOPC aims to minimize or eliminate all costs for athletes to attend the Paralympic Games by subsidizing travel and housing accommodations, providing venue access and supplying medical support.
