  • Gene currently serves as the Vice President of Major Giving for the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee. In this role, he directs and oversees the major giving program throughout the United States.

    He is a former Division I athlete, having played basketball for Florida International University. He also played professionally for the Morris Revolution in the Eastern Basketball Alliance. Gene has also summited Mt. Kilimanjaro and is a multi-time Ironman and marathon finisher. His oldest son, Jordan, plays Division I basketball at Merrimack College. Gene and his wife, Jenny, live in Colonia, New Jersey, along with their three children. His favorite Olympic moment was watching the Dream Team dominate their way to a gold medal at Barcelona 1992.
