Team USA Athletes' Commission Statement Regarding the U.S. Biathlon Allegations
Share:
As the voice of Team U.S.A. athletes, we are deeply disturbed by the allegations of harassment and assault against members of the U.S. Biathlon community. There is absolutely no place in sport—or in society—for the alleged conduct and our hearts are with those who have suffered. We applaud the courage of the survivors and will continue to be a resource for them.
These allegations—like all others—must be thoroughly investigated to ensure not only those responsible are held to account, but that our current athletes can pursue their dreams in a safe environment. We encourage any victims or persons aware of any abuse in sport to report it to the appropriate authorities.
