Adaptive Wilderness Sports of McCall (AWeSOMe!) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower people of all abilities through high quality outdoor experiences. AWeSOMe!, founded in the winter of 2001-2002, provides ski lessons as well as many other outdoor activities. Our goal is to provide participants the opportunity to learn new skills, challenge themselves, and work together to enhance the health and self-confidence necessary to expand human potential.

AquAbility is a non-profit corporation committed to providing therapeutic recreation and/or competition through swimming for people with a variety of physical challenges. The goals of AquAbility are to foster physical and cognitive benefits, raise self esteem, promote fitness, encourage and cultivate social interaction, improve quality of life, and to allow for independence in the sport of swimming for physically challenged adults and youth. Specific goals for 2012 are to increase local awareness of our program, seek out local participants, and to expand our work with injured veterans in Idaho and nationally.

Boise Parks & Recreation’s Adaptive Recreation Services provide a wide range of recreational, social and educational programs for youth and adults with disabilities. The AdVenture Seeker Program offers recreation opportunities specifically designed for people with physical disabilities and their friends and family. Some of the AdVenture Seeker programs include: adaptive waterskiing, bike rides, rafting trips, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby and more.

We offer programs in cycling, cross country skiing, and sled hockey and have many connections to other sporting programs for the disabled in our area
