Northeast Oklahoma Adaptive Sports

Northeast Oklahoma Adaptive Sports is a community development corporation focused on connecting people who may have disabilities with the people, organizations, equipment, and events they need in order to participate in adapted athletics of all types. We currently support wheelchair basketball, tennis, and adaptive cycling, as well as interests and hobbies such as shooting, archery, and other outdoor activities.

Adaptive rowing takes strength, determination, focus and patience. Regardless of your rowing experience, if you have the physical and psychological qualities to be an elite adaptive rower, in a short amount of time you could find yourself competing as an international athlete, representing your country. The OKC National High Performance Center has developed the Talent OKC: Paralympic Athlete Identification Program with a mission to select and recruit potential medal winning athletes.

The Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges is dedicated to its mission of providing opportunities for persons with physical disabilities to enhance the quality of their lives. Our programs of rehabilitative fitness, adaptive recreation, and community reintegration offer multiple activities to assist participants in engaging in active, healthy lifestyles for improved fitness, leisure independence and daily functioning. As a Sport Club, our desire is to increase opportunities for adaptive sports to our members for recreational and competitive involvement.

UCO Endeavor Games

The University of Central Oklahoma's annual Endeavor Games for Athletes with Physical Disabilities provides children, adults and military service members with physical disabilities an opportunity to display their talents in a proper and competitive setting against individuals with similar disabilities.

University of Central Oklahoma

The University of Central Oklahoma is an official U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Site. We are home to the U.S. Men's and Women's Sitting Volleyball teams and Paralympic powerlifting. Sixteen resident athletes currently train at UCO in the sports of archery, athletics and sitting volleyball. Each year, UCO hosts multiple Paralympic military training camps, in addition to national team camps. The UCO Endeavor Games is a nationally-recognized competition held annually. UCO Endeavor Games allows all athletes with physical disabilities to participate in a multi-sport event.
