    Access2Adventure

    Access2adventure (a2a) is a non-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life for people with physical disabilities. We provide unique opportunities to participate in a variety of sports, recreational activities and adventure travel. A2a is based in Rhode Island and serves the southern New England community. Access2adventure is a 501(c)(3) organization established in 2004. access2adventure is the only Rhode Island Chapter of Disabled Sports USA. DS/USA is a national non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1967 by disabled Vietnam veterans to serve the war injured. DS/USA now offers nationwide sports rehabilitation programs to anyone with a permanent physical disability.


    Rollin' Red Sox Wheelchair Softball

    We are a wheelchair softball team. We are a member of the National Wheelchair Softball Association and compete each year at the two largest wheelchair softball event, the National Wheelchair Softball Tournament and Major League Wheelchair Softball Tournament. Our goal is to continue to grow this adaptive form of softball in New England both competitively and for recreation.

    Sail To Prevail creates opportunities for disabled children and adults to overcome adversity through therapeutic sailing. We are proud of our 30-year history, in which we have served more than 15,000 disabled individual

    U.S. Sailing

    The goal of U.S. Sailing Council of Sailors with Disabilities is to accommodate sailors at all levels and interests. You will find programs for any disabled person who would like to sail anywhere in the country, learn more about our Paralympic program, and become familiar with our National Championship. The Gay S. Lynn Memorial Trophy is awarded to a person, volunteer or professional, or to an organization, that is selected by the Council for Sailors with Disabilities, as having made an outstanding contribution to disabled sailors and the sport of disabled sailing over a sustained period of time.
