FAQ#
National Governing Bodies and members of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic communities may nominate Olympians, Paralympians, teams, legends and special contributors for the hall of fame through a private form on TeamUSA.org during the official nomination window. All complete and eligible nominations are shared with the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame Nominating Committee for consideration. The nominating committee then narrows down the field and selects the finalists for the hall of fame ballot, which includes the Olympian, Paralympian, Team, Legend and Special Contributor categories. Finalists are voted on by members of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic families, National Governing Bodies and Team USA fans. When the voting window closes, vote totals of all three groups are compiled, determining the next class of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Hall of Fame.
