LA28 Press Extranet and 2026 World Press Briefing Registration Open, Deadline April 17

The LA28 Organizing Committee has opened registration for the Press Extranet and the 2026 World Press Briefing. The World Press Briefing provides media with an overview of Games-time operations, venues and services to support coverage planning ahead of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

After accessing the LA28 Press Extranet, media can register interest in attending the World Press Briefing (WPB), taking place in downtown Los Angeles from July 21-24, 2026, by completing the form under the WPB tab once access has been granted.

LA28 will confirm attendees on the following timeline:

• Friday, April 17, 2026: Deadline to register interest for in-person attendance
• By Friday, May 15, 2026: LA28 will confirm all in-person attendees

The LA28 Press Extranet is designed for press, photographers and non-media rights-holding radio and television broadcasters, as well as National Olympic Committees (NOCs), National Paralympic Committees (NPCs) and International Federations (IFs) who will be accredited for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. It will provide operational information to support coverage planning in the lead-up to and during the Games.
