About the Impact Academy
The Impact Academy was created to serve USOPC, NGB, and partner organization team members and athletes within the Movement to maximize their development as exceptional and impactful leaders. Our ultimate goal is to provide structured learning opportunities for team members and athletes to deepen their impact on the Movement, expand expertise in and outside of their field, and increase overall effectiveness through a mix of academic programs, practical skill building, peer engagement, and online education. The programs listed below are just the beginning of helping the Impact Academy deliver on its vision.
Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth
As an organization rooted in pursuing excellence, we are committed to our team members’ development. The Impact Academy includes a series of programs created especially for the Olympic and Paralympic Movement by Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth. Each program offers Team USA athletes and USOPC, NGB, and LA28 employees the opportunity to build their professional network with others in the Movement and learn immediately applicable skills for work and life. As the first learning and development opportunity for both employees and athletes, these programs are designed to help everyone learn together as a community, as an investment in their growth.
Tuck programs cover a variety of different topics and leadership levels, including the following courses offered annually:

- Board Service in the Movement
USOPC Organization Effectiveness Series
The USOPC Organization Effectiveness Series is a library of programs specifically designed to help USOPC team members increase effectiveness and impact in their work, skill-build in specific areas critical to the Movement, and create a more connected community of learners across the organization. New topics are released every 4-6 weeks and cover skills in the areas of leadership effectiveness, communication, decision making, development, and more. Each topic is explored in a variety of methods including facilitated virtual workshops, Team Talks, micro-learning opportunities, and an ever-expanding library of resources.
