Team USA Symposium

People & Careers

The Team USA Symposium is a three-and-a-half-day event that offers attendees the opportunity to learn more about the Team Behind the Team. Throughout the conference, participants will hear from employees of the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) and National Governing Bodies (NGBs), participate in various sport experiences and network with staff at the career and internship fair. This annual event is the only conference of its kind that provides an in-depth look at the functions and operations of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic movements. The experience is designed to help foster the journey of students and young professionals into the next generation of leaders in the field.

The 7th symposium featured speakers from the following departments and national governing bodies:

  • Business Operations
  • Collegiate Partnerships
  • Development
  • Events & Logistics
  • Games Operations

Please note that due to the ongoing pandemic and postponement of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone planning on the 2021 symposium until further notice. We remain committed to providing opportunities for students and young professionals to learn about and engage with the Olympic and Paralympic movements. Until we are able to come together, please keep an eye on our career page for other opportunities.
