Team USA House Paralympic Games FAQ
Internal Stakeholders - Frequently Asked Questions
Please note, the below information is for the Paralympic Games only.
What is Team USA House? #
Team USA House has been a tradition dating back to the Olympic Winter Games Salt Lake 2002. Traditionally, Team USA House has been a hospitality experience created specifically for Team USA athletes, alumni, coaches, families, friends, NGBs, donors, corporate partners and VIPs, and has served as a “home away from home” during the Olympic Games.
Team USA House has provided U.S. athletes with an opportunity to connect, reflect and relax with their special guests, celebrate and cheer on Team USA, and enjoy some down time following competition and their rigorous training schedules. It has also provided the USOPC an exclusive option to entertain key business clients, stakeholders and prospective business interests in an environment that uniquely celebrates Team USA, and American culture and cuisine.
Due to COVID, Team USA House did not exist during the Tokyo 2020 or Beijing 2022 Games. Paris 2024 represents the return of Team USA House to our activation plans, and for the first time ever it will be open during both the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Paris 2024 also marks the first time that tickets and packages will be available for purchase to the public. Most importantly, Team USA House represents the return of a fun, vibrant home base to cheer on and celebrate Team USA as a community at the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Where is Team USA House located? #
The Palais Brongniart is located in the heart of Paris, just steps away from a metro stop and within 20 minutes of most competition venues.
When is Team USA House open during the Paralympic Games? #
August 28 – Sept. 8, open 4 p.m. – 12 a.m. (12 days)

Pending capacity restrictions, there are currently no blackout dates/sessions for the first or second floor.
SECOND FLOOR/PRIVATE EVENT SPACE (“SECOND FLOOR”)#
Only invited attendees for private events can access the second floor.
Private event space on the second floor can be reserved by USOPF/donors and any external stakeholder groups (including NGBs, USOPP/Sponsors, select USOPC divisions, etc.). Stakeholder groups may reserve Le Salon D’Honneur as private event space for seated meals or receptions (up to 100 for seated meal, or up to 175 for cocktail reception) in the evening at an additional cost.
Information on private event space was sent to USOPF/donors, USOPP/sponsors, and all external stakeholder groups in March of 2024. We asked that one individual from each organization/department complete a private event space request form for each event by Friday, April 12. Through this form, external stakeholders were asked to submit their top three date requests to host each private event, the style of event they were hoping to host, and the approximate number of attendees. The USOPC will review all requests and inform stakeholders of the status of their requests by the end of April. Once informed, stakeholders will work with a USOPC representative to finalize food and beverage orders and other details.
To secure the use of private event space, hosts will be responsible for the following costs:
- €4,000 fee for daily rental, audio/video services and staff
TBD fee for AV and decor package through GL Live – interested private event hosts will be connected with GL Live to confirm those costs.
- Tickets for all attendees(€150 per person) – please note that athletes, alumni and USOPC board members receive complimentary tickets good for each day Team USA House is open and NGBs can also utilize their complimentary one-day passes, which can reduce this expense.
- All F&B costs - for seated meals, groups can choose between a three-course menu of French-themed items (€187 or €177 per person) or American-themed items (€139 per person). For receptions, groups can choose between options including casual American (€125 per person), international (€139 per person) or upscale French (€155 per person). All seated meals and reception options are inclusive of unlimited beer, wine, sparkling wine, soda, water and coffee/tea, and all above costs exclude taxes (20% VAT).
If included in the headcount total for events on the second floor, athletes, alumni and USOPC board members can access the event using their complimentary ticket, thus limiting the cost for external stakeholders and preventing a double charge.
There is no return policy for tickets to Team USA House.
Guests who are attending private events in Le Salon D’Honneur will have the opportunity to utilize their tickets for that whole day, including both before and/or after their private event, thus maximizing their ability to enjoy Team USA House.
Pending capacity restrictions, there are currently no blackout dates/sessions for the first or second floor.
