    Of the 244 athletes on the 2018 U.S. Olympic Team, 76 percent attended college at 87 different institutions, and more than one-third competed collegiately at 48 schools. Team USA had representation from NCAA Division I, II and III schools, including 43 conference affiliations. Sports with large collegiate footprints were ice hockey (94 percent), bobsled (88 percent), cross-country skiing (75 percent), biathlon (50 percent) and skeleton (50 percent).

    • Student-athlete: Any individual on Team USA who is/was a member of a collegiate roster (varsity/club/other) and/or competed in outside competition for a university or college.
    • Collegiate attendance: Any individual who enrolled at an institution to complete academic coursework.
