Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advisory Council
We are invested in becoming a DE&I leader in sport by providing access and opportunity for all.
The DE&I Advisory Council's purpose is to empower us to become better, more inclusive leaders in the Olympic & Paralympic Movement and in sport.
The DE&I Advisory Council consists of staff members from each department across the organization. The positions are held on a voluntary basis and operate under the guidance and leadership of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team. Council members meet on a monthly basis to review our DE&I initiatives and identify opportunities to help address diversity, equity and inclusion considerations.
Members are responsible for setting and modeling a standard of inclusion, fostering respect, challenging the status quo, and holding the organization accountable. Examples of the work that the DE&I Advisory Council assists with and/or provides feedback on an annual basis include: FLAME, NGB DE&I Choice Awards, Diversity Scorecards, etc.
