Media registration open for Team USA Media Summit ahead of Olympic and Paralympic Games Beijing 2022

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee today announced event details and the opening of media registration for the Team USA Media Summit ahead of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Beijing 2022.


The condensed two-day event is scheduled for Oct. 18 from 8-6:15 p.m. MT and Oct. 19 from 8-5 p.m. MT, and will be conducted virtually for a safe and easily accessible environment.


The summit will feature 30-minute press conferences with athletes from winter National Governing Bodies participating at Beijing 2022. Confirmed athletes to date include Olympic bronze medalist

Nathan Chen, two-time Paralympic medalist Noah Elliott, two-time Paralympic medalist Declan Farmer, three-time Olympic medalist Hilary Knight, 10-time Paralympic medalist Oksana Masters, three-time Olympic medalist Elana Meyers Taylor, Olympian T.J. Oshie and three-time Olympic champion Shaun White.
The full schedule of athlete availabilities will be released on Tuesday, Oct. 12 at
TeamUSA.org/MediaSummit.

The event will open with a press conference featuring USOPC medical and mental health staff and will also feature an update from USOPC leadership.

Each media member interested in attending any of the press conference sessions must register in advance of the event with their individual email address. Event details can be found below. The USOPC will confirm access and distribute call-in details on Oct. 15.
