Support Team USA in Tokyo, Beijing and beyond
by U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Foundation
Team USA delivered stunning performances in PyeongChang at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games. From the men's curling team winning the U.S.'s first Olympic gold in the sport to Chris Mazdzer taking silver in men's luge, where an American had never medaled, there was no shortage of history being made at every turn.
Mazdzer's teammate, Erin Hamlin, made a little history of her own. After earning Team USA's first ever medal in singles luge in Sochi, the four-time Olympian took her final run in PyeongChang, placing sixth in the women's competition. What was perhaps an even greater honor for Hamlin was carrying the American flag into Opening Ceremony after she was chosen by her teammates as Team USA's flag bearer.
Now, as she looks toward retirement, Hamlin has a message for everyone who made her career possible – and for those that will continue to propel Team USA in the years to come. Visit TeamUSAFund.org to learn how you can support the next generation of American Olympians and Paralympians.
