We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Team USA athletes on and off the field of play. As the fundraising arm of the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), the USOPF generates philanthropic support to empower Team USA athletes to achieve sustained competitive excellence and well-being.
100% of gifts to the USOPF go directly to athletes and the high-performance programming that supports them.
With generous contributions from donors across the United States, the USOPF funds resources like coaching, equipment, mental health resources, tuition grants, training and travel stipends, and more. Since it was founded in 2013, the USOPF has raised more than $125 million for U.S. Olympians, Paralympians and hopefuls.
The U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Foundation is led by President Christine Walshe and governed by the Board of Directors, which is chaired by Geoff Yang. The USOPF Trustee Council provides guidance in addition to philanthropic support. U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee CEO Sarah Hirshland and Chair Gene Sykes serve as ex officio members of the USOPF Board of Directors.
The USOPF is composed of a dedicated and diverse team working diligently to support Olympians, Paralympians and hopefuls as they train to represent Team USA.
