IOC/IPC Social and Digital Media Guidelines
The IOC and IPC encourage athletes and other accredited persons to engage in social and digital media activities, sharing and celebrating their experiences with their global audiences. Please note, however, that some conditions apply, especially surrounding commercial use and the sharing of audio and video.
Generally, these guidelines apply during Games times. The IOC guidelines are usually in effect from the opening to the closing of the Olympic Villages. The IPC guidelines are usually applicable from the opening to the closing of the Paralympic Villages.

Note: These guidelines were put in place by the International Olympic Committee and International Paralympic Committee in the lead-up to the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018. Updated guidelines will be released prior to Tokyo 2020 and posted when available.
