Dates Effective

The IOC’s Rule 40 and the IPC's athlete sponsorship regulations apply during and surrounding Games times. The IOC and IPC establish specific applicable periods for each specific Games.

For the Olympic Summer Games Paris 2024, the IOC Rule 40 period is July 18, 2024 to August 13, 2024. The IPC's Athlete Sponsorship and Advertising Regulations dates for the Paralympic Summer Games Paris 2024 are August 21, 2024 to September 10, 2024.
