Paralympic gold medalist Evan Strong traveled an unconventional path to the snow.
While living in Hawaii, with its balmy temperatures and sunshine, he learned about snowboarding, a discovery that would change his life. Soon enough, at the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games, he led a Team USA podium sweep in snowboard-cross.
